Welcome to SkyFi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our internet connectivity services, website, and related services. By accessing or using SkyFi services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Definition

1.1 Services Provided

SkyFi provides the following services:

  • Internet Connectivity: Hotspot-based internet access via voucher system
  • Voucher Sales: Pre-paid internet access vouchers with various data and time limits
  • Utility Bill Payments: Electricity, airtime, data, and cable TV payments via VTpass
  • Customer Support: Technical assistance and account management

1.2 Service Coverage

Our services are currently available in the following states in Nigeria:

  • Lagos State
  • Federal Capital Territory (Abuja)
  • Borno State

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

2.2 Account Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your vouchers or account to others

3. Voucher Purchase and Usage

3.1 Voucher Pricing

  • Voucher prices are displayed on our website and are subject to change
  • All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes
  • Payment is processed through Paystack, a secure payment gateway

3.2 Voucher Validity

  • Each voucher has a specified validity period (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month)
  • Vouchers expire after the validity period, regardless of data usage
  • Unused data at expiration is forfeited and non-refundable
  • Voucher codes are single-use and cannot be reused

3.3 Voucher Activation

  • Vouchers must be activated by entering the username and password at the login portal
  • Once activated, the validity period begins immediately
  • Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Methods

We accept payments through:

  • Paystack (credit/debit cards, bank transfers)
  • All payments are final and non-refundable except as described in Section 5

4.2 Service Fees

  • A small service fee may be added to utility bill payments
  • Service fees are clearly displayed before payment confirmation
  • Fees are subject to change with prior notice

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Voucher Refunds

  • No refunds for activated or partially used vouchers
  • Refunds may be granted for unactivated vouchers within 24 hours of purchase
  • Technical issues preventing service access may qualify for refund (at our discretion)

5.2 Bill Payment Refunds

  • Failed bill payments will be refunded within 3-5 business days
  • Successful payments to third-party providers (VTpass) are non-refundable
  • Contact our support team for refund requests

6. Acceptable Use Policy

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use our services for:

  • Illegal activities or violations of Nigerian law
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Hacking, phishing, or unauthorized access attempts
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, or mass email campaigns
  • Copyright infringement or unauthorized file sharing
  • Harassment, hate speech, or abusive content
  • Excessive bandwidth consumption affecting other users

6.2 Network Management

  • We reserve the right to manage network traffic to ensure fair usage
  • Certain bandwidth-intensive applications may be throttled during peak hours
  • We may block access to illegal or harmful websites

7. Service Availability

7.1 Uptime

  • We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • Service interruptions due to force majeure are not compensated

  • Response time may vary based on issue complexity

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the SkyFi website and services, including but not limited to:

  • Logos, trademarks, and brand names
  • Website design and layout
  • Software and code
  • Text, graphics, and images

...are the property of SkyFi and protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • SkyFi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 30 days
  • We are not responsible for third-party services (Paystack, VTpass, etc.)
  • Internet speed may vary based on network conditions and location

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

  • You may stop using our services at any time
  • No refunds for unused voucher time or data

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in prohibited activities
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Fail to pay for services

12. Modifications to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time
  • Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • Material changes will be communicated via email (if provided)

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts with jurisdiction in Lagos State.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Customer Support

14.2 Arbitration

If a dispute cannot be resolved through customer support, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SkyFi regarding the use of our services.
